You are Welcome in this place!

Special Announcements >

Dear Friend,

It is with pleasure that we welcome you to Masonboro Baptist Church.  There are no strangers when people gather to worship, one with the other, bound by God's Spirit.  We hope that you will find "a sweet, sweet spirit in this place."

We recognize that there are a variety of circumstances that bring guests to us.  If you are visiting from out of town, we invite you to attend whenever your travels bring you this way.  If you are new to the area and looking for a church home, we trust that the spirit of this community of faith will capture your interest.  We would be so pleased if God led you to join this fellowship.

If you are searching for answers to the deeper questions of life, we invite you to come along as we journey together, seeking to know Him who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Light."

May God richly bless you,

Pastor Gordon A. Wright, Jr.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: 20 strong Masonboro volunteers are needed to work on the Habitat Ecumenical House located in the Cottages at Cornerstone development, on Mosely Street on Saturday, September 13, from 8am to 3pm to install roof sheathing.  Habitat will provide all needed tools and supplies.  See the insert in Friendship register to volunteer.  Contact Randy Anderson with questions.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HELPERS NEEDED

If you would like to volunteer to be on a cooking team, set up team, serving team or cleanup team once a month from September to April on Wednesday night, please contact Kiki Vanek or the church office.  Wednesday night dinners cannot happen without many volunteers.
